In her book "108 Asian Cookies," Kat Lieu shares a recipe for Black Sesame-Brown Butter Rice Krispies Treats. She was inspired by her mother, who loved making traditional Rice Krispies Treats. Rose Mary Blatchley (Nanny), age 95, of Frederick, passed away on August 13, 2026. Born on March 27, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Salvatricia Brocato. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 2016.
