LUV01228 The University Shuttle Bus Service has been operating since 2018 following a competitive tender exercise. The Oadby to Campus Shuttle Bus Service was established in the first term of 2018/2019 academic year in order to provide a subsidised bus service to and from the Oadby Halls of residence to the main campus. It is managed by the Estates and Campus Services Division here at the University. The contract will begin in September 2026 for a potential term of up to five years.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. This contract has been formally awarded using direct award process C. The contract was awarded on the 28th April 2025.

The direct award is for the provision of licences for AI agents/"Digital Workers" for 6 rail specific use cases that had been developed following an award of a further competition under the CCS Framework RM6173. As the supplier retains the intellectual property of the platform on which these agents have been developed, it is not possible to transfer the agents to another supplier, and so the licences can only be provided by the supplier.
