Wakaan Festival, since it’s first year in 2018, has been a staple of the underground bass music world. Founded by dubstep legend Liquid Stranger and his iconic experimental bass collective Wakaan, the festival has brought so many superstar acts to Mulberry Mountain in Ozark Arkansas over the years, ranging from Subtronics to Tape B to GRiZ to Ganja White Night. For the 2026 lineup, Wakaan is bringing out all of the stops.

Pipe Leak is an up and coming artist whose production chops are seriously impressive. You’ve got to have him on your radar in 2026. With his second full length album on the horizon, The rising star is giving his fans a taste of the project with his brand new single dubbed “Your Eyes.” You can enjoy the new track now from the young production maestro ahead of the full Eternal LP dropping on September 3rd.

Bassrush, the powerhouse bass music label from electronic music titans Insomniac Records, is well known for spotlighting rising artists and elevating some of the festival world’s biggest burgeoning dubstep acts. Their Prophecy compilation albums have hosted some of the most talented names in bass music production over their past thirteen volumes, with EAZYBAKED, Saka, Super Future, VEIL, CapoChino, rSUN, and dozens more.

North Coast Music Festival is keeping the hype train going with their most recent announcement, revealing the official after party schedule. This year, after the sun goes down, the beloved Chill Dome will transform into The Bunker, a unique stage concept featuring hard techno and riddim acts.
