Canadian independent filmmakers Brett and Jason Butler are bringing their latest feature, STARSUCKERS, to its world premiere at FrightFest 2026, running August 27–31 at ODEON Cinemas Leicester Square and West End in London. Stars Manon Ens-Lapointe (The Last Anniversary) and James Alex will attend the premiere alongside the directors, with an additional screening scheduled at FrightFest @ the Arzner on Saturday, September 5.
NEON’s IT ENDS Launches 36-Hour Endless Screening Event
NEON has announced a genuinely unhinged promotional stunt for Alex Ullom’s debut feature IT ENDS: The Endless Screening, a 36-hour theatrical endurance event launching in New York City ahead of the film’s August 21 theatrical opening. The marathon runs from 7:00 p.m. ET on August 21 through 7:00 a.m. ET on August 23 at Metro Private Cinema, 131 8th Avenue, New York, NY 10011. The event is built around four-person teams competing in a “Last Person Standing” challenge.
The Demon Detective Hits UK Digital August 17
The Demon Detective, a new supernatural mystery horror from writer-director T.C. De Wit (Star Trek: Legacies, Blade: Heart of Darkness), lands on UK digital platforms on August 17 via Miracle Media. Delusion: Den of the Mosquito Returns to LA This Fall
Delusion, the acclaimed interactive horror theater experience created by writer and director Jon Braver, is heading back to where it all began. Presented by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, the 2026 production — Delusion: Den of the Mosquito — runs on select nights from September 17 through November 8 at the historic Beckett Mansion in Los Angeles, the very location where the series launched in 2011.

Six Flags Fright Fest 2026: First-Ever Final Destination Maze
Six Flags Magic Mountain has unveiled the full lineup for Fright Fest Presented by SNICKERS® 2026, headlined by Final Destination: Death’s Playground — the world’s first theme park haunt based on the Final Destination horror franchise. The event runs on select nights from September 18 through November 1, for a total of 25 nights. The centerpiece new maze puts guests inside a series of gruesome, inescapable disaster scenarios based on New Line Cinema’s long-running franchise.

SCREAMBOX has announced that YELLOW EYES, a new supernatural horror film from director Jesse Korman, will stream exclusively on the platform beginning August 18. The 86-minute feature stars Nena Martins and Michael Kunicki in a slow-burn tale of demonic possession driven by desire. YELLOW EYES centers on Brad, who inherits his late uncle’s deteriorating home only to discover an ancient demonic idol hidden within its walls.
