Halloween stuff is popping up in stores; we're pulling out our sweatshirts and warmer boots and putting up our fall decor. While it's still early, you might want to remove certain items from your garage before the serious cold comes. To help you get organized and save you the cost of replacing these items, we've put together a list.

What Exactly is a Data Center No doubt you have heard all the scuttlebutt about data centers opening in North Dakota, but what exactly are they? What constitutes a data center? I sat down with a member of the Burleigh County Commission, and here's what he told me. "A data center is a physical facility, room, or building that houses computer systems and related equipment to store, process, and transmit large amounts of digital data. What Do They Do?

There are some pieces of Williston history that are hard to miss. One of them has been sitting in Railroad Park for decades, quietly reminding generations of the area's railroad roots. Now, a local group wants to give that piece of history a major facelift. The Fort Buford 6th Infantry Association has presented a proposal to the Williston Parks & Recreation District to cosmetically restore Great Northern Steam Locomotive 3059.

Go ahead, open your glove box. What do you see? If yours looks anything like mine, there's a pretty good chance it has very little to do with gloves. Glove compartments, or glove boxes, were originally designed to hold driving gloves. Bismarck's Mainstream Boutique, the women's fashion brand at 4816 Ottawa St is now officially for sale, according to a post on the store's Facebook page. The boutique moved from its longtime downtown Bismarck location, near Liberty Tax off of Bismarck Expressway, to the North end of town in July 2026. That old downtown storefront didn't stay empty long - Vacuum moved in shortly after Mainstream's relocation.

New Dining Option I was doing some grocery shopping last evening at the south Cash Wise just off the Bismarck Expressway when I noticed a new sign on the strip mall just to the north of Cash Wise. Otherwise known as Expressway Centre, located at 914 12th Street South. Little Caesars Pizza is in this building, as well as Lavish Nails, Dollar Tree, and a couple of others in South Bismarck.

Lori Loughlin is focusing on her future after officially ending her 28-year marriage to Mossimo Giannulli — and she's happy to be working again. “She is thrilled to be back working,” a source told Page Six. “She is back at Hallmark working happily.” Loughlin, 62, filed for divorce from Giannulli, 63, on Sept. 4, though she listed their date of separation as Aug. 31, 2025. The former couple has two daughters, Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26.

The Blooming Lotus Floral just opened in Bismarck over Labor Day weekend at 212 W Front Ave. In the same strip mall that houses Ameri-Cash, Plato's Closet, and NutriShop, you can find this unique floral shop. According to the business's Facebook page, they sell both fresh and faux floral arrangements for any occasion - weddings, birthdays, funerals, anniversaries, bridal showers, etc.
