How do we use technology to separate us from other competitors? We like to look at what is happening in the technology world and select what we think fits best for our purposes. We build on industry standard technologies which are proven, failsafe and can never be rattled. But we're always building on top of that. If the present day technology is not enough to suit our needs, we create it completely from scratch. Our Mission Control is on a completely Cloud-based architecture.

One of the things that we absolutely love about Knocking is the work from anywhere culture - we call it WFA. It’s not just a policy at Knocking, it’s a philosophy. That means it doesn't matter where you are or who you're with, you can work anywhere in the world for this company. With some of the teams we managed during the pandemic, it was stressful. It was really stressful to be at home, there was a lot of loss with COVID-19. But eventually people got used to it.

Rumors are heating up that Tesla may soon release its own smart phone - the Tesla Pi phone (or Tesla model Pi). While Tesla hasn't made an official announcement yet, I doubt many people would be surprised if Tesla indeed decided to branch out into the smart phone space. We're used to seeing innovative companies like Tesla entering new markets. Tesla started with cars, and is now in the business of solar power, energy storage, charging networks, space technology and neurotechnology.

Knocking’s “Work From Anywhere” culture is one of the aspects that drew me into the company. During the height of the pandemic I was commuting into work every weekday into a news studio and doing business as usual, living in New York City - no less where we were once the epicenter of the COVID disease. I couldn’t quite relate to everyone’s “Work From Home” lifestyle.

E-commerce and media are truly a match made in heaven. We see media as a business that thrives off of great content and they get paid to make this great content in one primary way – with advertisers. There is a relationship between advertisers and great content. But here at Knocking, we look at the world and we see a much bigger opportunity around consumers and shopping. The world of e-commerce is tremendously bigger.
