KOLD-TV, virtual channel 13 (UHF digital channel 32), is a CBS-affiliated television station licensed to Tucson, Arizona, United States. The station is owned by Gray Television, which also operates Fox affiliate KMSB (channel 11, owned by Tegna Inc.) and MyNetworkTV affiliate KTTU (channel 18, owned by Tucker Broadcasting with advertising sales handled by Tegna) through separate shared services agreements. The three stations share studios on North Business Park Drive on the northwest side of Tucson (near the Casas Adobes neighborhood), which also house the Raycom Design Group, an in-house firm that designs graphics packages for Raycom Media's former television stations. KOLD's transmitter is located atop Mount Bigelow. The station also operates a fill-in translator on VHF channel 13, whose transmitter is located atop the Tucson Mountains west of Tucson. Source

GOODYEAR, AZ (AZFamily) — An Uber driver is accused of being under the influence with a mother and child in her vehicle, leading to a crash in the West Valley this week. Jennifer Joyce, 28, was arrested in connection with the alleged crime. On Tuesday, around noontime, officers were called to a crash near Sarival Avenue and Yuma Road in Goodyear. Police say a white Jeep Compass ran off the road, hit the sidewalk and went over the median.

Phoenix puts new limits on tying up dogs

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix now has stricter rules for owners who want to tie their dogs up outside. The Phoenix City Council unanimously approved an updated ordinance that bans leaving dogs tied or chained outside unless someone is directly supervising them. That means the dog has to be in the line of sight of its owner or handler at all times. The new restrictions update a 2023 law that made it illegal to use chains to tie up a dog and specified what constitutes adequate shelter.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) —Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes is warning about dangerous narcotics after three recent trafficking cases ended with prison sentences or probation. The first case involves Julian Magana, who was sentenced to 9.25 years in prison Friday after selling 10,000 pills laced with a synthetic opioid called carfentanil to a Chandler Police Department informant on Dec. 12, 2025, and then selling 100,000 pills to the same informant five days later.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU/Gray News) - An alleged shoplifter was shot and killed, and three officers were injured in a shooting at a Walmart in Alaska on Tuesday. According to the Anchorage Police Department, officers were called that night by Walmart staff who said they had stopped a man who was committing retail theft and had them detained. However, Anchorage Police Chief Sean Case said the situation quickly turned violent.

NEW YORK (AP) — A teenager thrown to the ground Wednesday when a Central Park carriage horse bolted away from its driver has died, according to police. The 18-year-old was riding in the horse-drawn carriage with three other passengers when the accident happened just before 3 p.m., according to the New York Police Department. Flooding has closed Country Club Road north of Dawson Road and Dawson Road east of Country Club Road. East Dawson Road is closed east of South Palo Verde Road and west of Alvernon Way. Sahuarita Road is closed at Comsoft Drive, Wilmot Road and Alvernon Way.
