GLASGOW, Ore. — A Lieutenant with the North Bay Fire District (NBFD)was home on lunch when an explosion shook his house was among the first to respond as a home was destroyed and a man was found dead. NBFD crews were dispatched to a report of a “large explosion,” sending one fire engine from Station 1. Firefighters arrived on scene within about five minutes and began deploying attack lines to extinguish the fire sparked by the blast, according to the fire district.
