MINNEAPOLIS (AP/CNN) — State prosecutors have charged an ICE agent with assault for pointing his gun at the occupants of a car on a highway in Minneapolis. The criminal case announced Thursday is believed to be the first brought against a federal immigration officer involved in the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown. Gregory Donnell Morgan Jr. is charged with two counts of second-degree aggravated assault in the Feb. 5 incident.

(KVRR-KFGO) – The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office says a man is jailed in Devils Lake and facing a number of charges, including impersonating a law enforcement officer. A sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle near Petersburg in northeast North Dakota around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle was stolen from the Fargo-Moorhead area.

The URSCA Symposium is an all-day, campus-wide event featuring original student research and creative projects across all majors. The students get the chance to show off the work they’ve accomplished in science, data technology, as well as art, music and global studies. Classes and practices are being cancelled for the day to focus on the students’ work.
