DUBUQUE, Iowa — A bridal boutique owner is assessing smoke damage to her dresses after a fire broke out in the building over the weekend. On Saturday, the Dubuque Fire Department responded to reports of smoke and flames coming from the roof of 400 Bluff Street. The Vintage Chic Bridal Boutique is located directly below the apartments where the fire started. The shop was closed at the time, but owner Shelby Duggan was inside the boutique.
