An unspeakable crime Lindsay Clancy, 36, is on trial for the murder of her three children, a trial that has gripped America. On the 24th of January 2023 Lindsay Clancy strangled, with an exercise band, her three children, her daughter Cora who was aged 5, her son Dawson aged 3, and her 8-month-old baby boy Callan. Lindsay Clancy then attempted suicide by cutting her neck and wrists and jumping out the second floor bedroom window. She was left paralyzed from the waist down.
Burnham guts the Treasury
This week Prime Minister Andy Burnham gutted the Treasury. He has put one over on the Chancellor of the Exchequer John Healey MP by stripping out the most important element of his job – engineering much needed economic growth in the British economy. This was not how Burnham put it, but it is what he has done. Burnham chose his timing well – August and when many are still spilling ink over the ridiculous Jason Arday story. It received limited attention.
Meghan arrives in The Motherland
And just like that the Duchess of Sussex, I’ll call her Meghan, is coming to a school gate near you. The news dropped, happily for British journalists in August, that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to move back to Blighty very soon. Prince Harry wants the children Archie and Lilibet to be educated in England and not in the US of A. Why doesn’t this surprise me? I wonder if their move back home will be as stressful as ours was.
Leftist hysteria on Arday
I haven’t said much on the Professor Jsaon Arday affair as so much has been written elsewhere. Further, when the left are at their most hysterical, as they are now, I turn quite mummsy and think simply ignoring them – as you would a toddler – is the best strategy. But unlike toddlers many of them hold positions of power so this is not a great option. The suicide of Jason Arday was a tragedy for his family.
Who's who at The Pool
There are people who go on holiday at a private villa with a private pool. There are other people who will actually voluntarily choose to go on a “childfree” holiday. Both of these options are very foolish. I always enjoy watching families with young children on holiday. I think the tiny toddlers in their tiny togs are delightful to observe. As they said last year Michael McIntyre is completely correct in his description of children on holidays.
Make crime illegal
The piece yesterday on the car terrorism on the M9 in Co.Kildare where five young men drove the wrong way down the motorway and crashed into an innocent family of four got a huge reaction. I therefore update developments today. The five young men, all of whom died in the crash of their own making, weaponized a BMW to attack three sisters and a child. At 3.04am, the BMW being driven at high speed by the young men crashed head-on into the Hyundai which was being driven by the sisters.
Car terrorism in Ireland
In the early hours of Sunday morning a family was on their way from Carlow to Dublin airport to attend a wedding in England. In this car, in the front seats were sisters Alma and Niamh Kinsella, in their 30s, and in the back was the younger sister Ella Hendricken, in her 20s, alongside her 7 year old nephew. The family were all packed up for the short trip to England. The little one must have been excited.
Urfan Sharif was given a free pass to abuse his own daughter
(From the 14th of November 2025.) Yesterday, the serious case review into the brutal and sadistic murder of Sara Sharif by her father Urfan Sharif and her stepmother Beinash Batool was released.
The legal team in trial of the murder of Preston Davey.
(From the 19th of June 2026, with some edits.) A few words on the police and legal team that secured some justice for Preston Davey. This was an extremely difficult case to put together. It was (on my count) a 25 count indictment against Jamie Varley including murder and 4 counts against John McGowan-Fazakerley including the always difficult to prove charge of causing or allowing the death of a child.
Welcome to Yorkshire
The Times reported on Friday, the following. “The government announced in June that it planned to convert three former military bases — Bicester in Oxfordshire, RAF Barnham in Suffolk and RAF Linton-on-Ouse in North Yorkshire — to house 3,750 asylum seekers. All three are near small villages and the number of asylum seekers will significantly outnumber the local populations.” Three thousand seven hundred and fifty foreign men coming to a village near you. What can you say about this madness?
