A few words on the police and legal team that secured some justice for Preston Davey. This was an extremely difficult case to put together. It was (on my count) a 25 count indictment against Jamie Varley including murder and 4 counts against John McGowan-Fazakerley including the always difficult to prove charge of causing or allowing the death of a child.

What’s this nonsense with the hydration break? After what seemed like a long week, when it was in fact only Wednesday, I sat down with Emma to watch the England match. She was cheering for England, obviously. A few of my readers know that I was a football nut back the day, when all the days were better than today. This was Manchester United’s glory days to be precise. Things have changed quite a bit since then. Every time I come back to watch a football match something has changed.
