Euro coins bearing the likeness of Grand Duke Guillaume will go into circulation in Luxembourg next Monday, 13 July, the finance ministry has said. The Grand Duke travelled to the Pessac facility of the Paris mint – the Monnaie de Paris - in the metropolitan area of Bordeaux on Tuesday to attend a ceremony marking the first minting of the new coins. An accident involving four vehicles caused a traffic jam on the A1 motorway on Wednesday morning in the direction of Luxembourg City.
