Smoky conditions have improved in Southeast Michigan resulting in the air quality alert that been in place for past few days being lifted Saturday, July 18, according to SEMCOG. But at the same time, state officials warn another alert is likely to be in place Sunday, July 19. Sunday’s alert is but not expected to be as severe as originally anticipated.
