Single Lanes Coming to Veterans Drive Through Friday in St. Cloud
ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- Prepare for some slowdowns on a busy east-west corridor through part of St. Cloud. The city of St. Cloud will be reducing County Road 4/Veterans Drive to a single lane in each direction starting on Monday. The lane closures will be from Highway 15 to 44th Avenue North due to private gas utility work. Traffic will be maintained in each direction; however, traffic delays are likely. The lane closures are scheduled to be in effect through Friday.

ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- The League of Women Voters, St. Cloud Area, is hosting a candidate forum for the St. Cloud City Council. It will be held on Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. In the Ward 1 race, the candidates are Charlie Hobbs and incumbent Dave Masters. In the Ward 3 race, the candidates are Luke Christian and the incumbent Hudda Ibrahim. In the Ward 4 race, the candidates are Joe Baratta and Craig Heurung.

Benton County Historical Society Closes For Major Renovation And Four New Exhibits
SAUK RAPIDS (WJON News) -- The Benton County Historical Society and Museum will be temporarily closing while it completes some new exhibit spaces. The second level of the building in Sauk Rapids has been completely renovated. Executive Director Lacey Fontaine says they have four new exhibits coming. One is going to be a dedicated military space to honor the veterans of Benton County. We're also going to have a children's room to display children's clothing and toys throughout Benton County history.
Cathedral Volleyball Sweeps Albany – PREP SPORTS SCOREBOARD
Cathedral girls volleyball beat Albany 3-1 on Thursday night. Set scores were 25-19, 18-25, 25-22 and 25-18 for the Crusaders. Ava Meyer filled up the stat sheet for Cathedral with 26 kills, 13 digs and four ace serves, Berkley Mathiasen had 43 set assists with 13 digs and Sophie Hurrle added 15 digs in the win. Sauk Rapids-Rice beat the Tech Tigers 3-1 with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 25-14 and 25-15.
Phantom’s Feast & New Lease for Minnesota Renaissance Festival
