The Season 4 refresh is live in Battlefield 6 starting today, and it brings the Top Gun crossover content. Players will see the download as Battlefield 6 update 1.000.028, and this also brings a huge list of changes as well. It seems the gamers who aren’t ready to give up physical media won’t take things lying down. In today’s Phantom Blade 0 State of Play, developer S-Games showcased 20 minutes of Phantom Blade 0, featuring story elements and gameplay. While the footage shown off was incredible, it seems no one cared as the majority (literally about 90%) was all about how Sony’s “Gree Has No Limits” (a play on Sony’s marketing push), pushing for CD emojis and more.

This is a hefty download, and for PS5 gamers, you’ll be glad to know that this addresses frame rate issues, though we’re not expecting it all to be fixed in one go. Calling all Colonial Marines! It’s time to step into action, as Cold Iron Studios is back with an all-new Aliens game: Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. Building on the success of the original 2021 release, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 promises an even more hostile co-operative experience, bringing even deadlier threats this time around.

As expected, DICE has pushed out the Battlefield 6 preload 1.000.027 file that players can download today, ahead of the patch’s install time tomorrow. This brings the Top Gun collaboration content, as well as a significant list of gameplay changes and improvements. Pearl Abyss has issued Crimson Desert update 1.000.463 today, and this is another hotfix for the RPG. As one might expect given this is the third patch in two days, don’t expect any new content from this outside of fixes. This will bring the game to version 1.18.02 across all platforms, and we’ve also included the list of known issues below as well.

As expected, given the massive patch we received last week for Helldivers 2, Arrowhead Game Studios has now pushed out a new patch applying fixes. Given the sheer scale and high expectations surrounding most Star Wars game projects, it’s no surprise that many ambitious titles get left on the cutting room floor. In just the last few years, we’ve seen many high-profile cancellations, most notably Aspyr’s initial take on the Knights of the Old Republic remake and a Mandalorian-led FPS from Respawn Entertainment. The game in this article, however, was completely unknown until now.

It’s been four years since Kingdom Hearts 4 was announced as part of the franchise’s 20th anniversary, and it looks like the wait for it is finally (close) to coming to an end. As part of the D23 event, Square Enix and Disney announced that Kingdom Hearts 4 will be released sometime in “late 2027” for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC.

Pearl Abyss has released the second patch for Crimson Desert this weekend, as the game has now received a hotfix. After yesterday’s patch, the developers have released Crimson Desert update 1.000.460, and this brings the game to version 1.18.01 across all platforms. This is a hotfix, so don’t expect a long changelog, but the list of known issues are also available below.
