Call of Duty continues to be one of the true annual franchises that keeps coming year after year even in the age of games taking forever to develop now thanks to the mixing of development teams across titles. The Modern Warfare series debuted back in 2007 from Infinity Ward at Activision and has developed every Modern Warfare game except for the third reboot, but now they’re back in charge with the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

For as long as the Call of Duty franchise has been going, it has been surprising that it has taken this long to get a movie based on the series. First announced last September and more recently given a release date in April, the Call of Duty movie got some major news today at Fanatics Fest regarding its setting.

Assassin’s Creed as a series has become a mainstay in the industry since its debut in 2007 that saw nine straight years of new mainline entries before they began to release further apart due to the scale and size of games like Assassin’s Creed Origins and onward. One of the most well-received and fan favorites of the bunch has been Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, which was released in 2013.
