Championing reading and creativity through the Oxford Big Read 2025
This year, Oxford Big Read brought together students from 15 countries in a truly global celebration of reading, creativity, and collaboration. The Oxford Big Read is an international competition that encourages students to read OUP books and complete a creative project based on their reading. With three competition levels aligned to school classes, Oxford Big Read continues to foster literacy development at every stage.
Keeping world-leading international law resource open access
The Max Planck Encyclopedia of Public International Law has reached its goal for renewals and will continue to publish on a Subscribe to Open model, through to at least March 2027. The Max Planck Encyclopedia of Public International Law is the leading resource in the field, containing peer-reviewed articles on every aspect of international law—a discipline which provides a common legal framework for the whole world.

Where music meets learning with Song Pals
What were the biggest considerations in balancing pedagogical integrity with flexibility? We worked extensively to ensure that Song Pals aligns with local educational legislation while still providing the flexibility that teachers need. The Song Pals stories strand (available with Super Fun Books) have themes relating to social and emotional development through the Song Pals characters, which is an important area within the Spanish curriculum.
Emphasizing our expertise and community at London Book Fair 2026
Standing with authors and fellow publishers We are proud to support the Don’t Steal This Book campaign, which launched on the opening day of the fair. Nearly 10,000 authors added their names to a book titled Don’t Steal This Book, protesting against mass copyright infringement by tech companies to train AI models. 1,000 copies of the book were published and appeared across publisher stands throughout the fair to raise awareness and visibility.
