Cadillac has confirmed that test driver Colton Herta will participate in four Free Practice 1 sessions for the American team this year. Herta, from Santa Clarita, California, will participate in his first FP1 at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, before three other outings over the course of the season.

McLaren and Mercedes have been in action at the Nurburgring, tyre testing for Pirelli. The drivers therefore waited for track conditions to improve before starting the programme originally planned on slick.

F1 CEO, Stefano Domenicali has hit out at those criticising the 2026 rules overhaul, especially Max Verstappen. Audi boss, Mattia Binotto admits that his team's under-performing engine hasn't come as a surprise. As expected, Mercedes appears to have done the best job in getting a grip of the rules overhaul, its two drivers looking set to battle for the title.
