Crunchyroll Manga launched last fall with a modest lineup of titles and a promise that more were on the way. They’ve kept that promise over the months as blocks of manga from various publishers have been added, but this week’s is a big get: they’ve landed the Kodansha library. As of next Monday you’ll be able to find Attack on Titan, Fire Force, Tokyo Revengers, Your Lie in April, The Seven Deadly Sins, BAKEMONOGATARI, Chihayafuru and over a dozen others on Crunchyroll Manga. More are on the way.

The second annual NYC Video Game Festival was held over the weekend. Although brand new, it boasted of everything a typical game convention does: interactive attractions and free demo kiosks for upcoming games, new technology on display, and public product demonstrations shown for the first time, such as F1 racing simulators, electronic darts and VR simulations.

New York City is one of the largest centralized game development hubs in the world, with over 380 game companies that call it home, and over 7,900 indie game developers on top of that. With such a high volume of game makers, a convention devoted to exclusively local games makes sense. It’s an event where those who live in and around NYC can see the extent of their homegrown talent in one location.

One of the main series you can blame for the Isekai Takeover is coming back to US theaters. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond was originally released by Crunchyroll back in January of 2023, but if you missed it then, you’ve got a second chance coming up. Crunchyroll is bringing it back to select theaters for one day-only, as part of their monthly Anime Nights theatrical program.

Crunchyroll announced that Daemons of the Shadow Realm will stream worldwide excluding Asia beginning April 4, 2026. The anime adaptation brings Hiromu Arakawa’s latest work to international audiences with full multilingual support. New episodes premiere weekly every Saturday on the streaming platform. The series launches with global dubbing across multiple languages, positioning it as a major international release for spring 2026.
