The fees equate to about 0.97% of the total amount raised, SK Hynix’s filings showed, ‌meaning ​bankers earned more as a ⁠percentage of deal size ⁠than those who worked on SpaceX’s initial public offering.

July 10 (Reuters) – Twelve people were killed in a wildfire in Almeria ​in southern Spain, ‌with 150 firefighters working to put out the blaze, the Emergency Agency of Andalucía ‌said ​early on ⁠Friday. Minister of the ⁠Presidency, Health, and Emergencies Antonio Sanz called the fire “the most devastating fire ​to date in our region” and described the ⁠situation as ⁠an “unprecedented tragedy”. Earlier, there were ​reports of six deaths ​from the wildfire.

SYDNEY, July 10 (Reuters) – Australia ​has ‌confirmed its first case ‌of ​the ⁠deadly ⁠H5N1 bird flu in an ​Australian ⁠seabird, ⁠Agriculture Minister ​Julie ​Collins said on ‌Friday. All previous detections ⁠in the country had ⁠been ‌in ⁠migratory ​seabirds.

July 10 (Reuters) – Japan is seeking to encourage its Government Pension Investment Fund, the world’s biggest pension fund, to boost investment in Japanese assets, Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama said on Friday. The fund owned 293.4 trillion yen ($1.8 trillion) in assets at the end of December, so its allocation decisions carry significant weight for ​global markets, and the announcement sent the yen and Japanese government bonds higher. The yen edged up about ‌0.3% to 161.8 per dollar.
