A 43-year-old man has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of mother-of-two Paula Canty. The 31-year-old was found dead at her home in Mallow in county Cork on the 3rd of January 2025. Joseph Butler of the Belfry, Mallow, county Cork appeared in court in person, and after confirming his identity, replied ‘guilty’ when the charge of unlawfully killing Paula Canty was put to him.
