RetailWit
Press release/News aggregator
We are three retail nerds with over 48 years of experience working in and around both Retail and CPGs. While we love the industry and all the variety that comes with it, we are overwhelmed with the constant influx of newsletters, blogs, websites and expert Points of View.
So we did something about it; we built RetailWit. Designed to be the ‘one-stop-shop’ for all of your (and our) retail news and intelligence needs. We gather all the important retail news in one spot as it happens, reviewing an exhaustive summary of the best (and worst) in blogs, newsfeeds and newsletters to bring you today’s news – not what happened last week or last month. We also bring in the best of the best in general business articles as well as a little fun and humor. Source

The move, which was denied following media reports earlier this year, comes as Primark prepares to split from ABF.
Many Things vs One Big Thing
Ever heard the one about the fox and the hedgehog? The fox knows many things. The hedgehog knows one big thing. Archilochus wrote that 2,700 years ago. In a nutshell, the fox chases everything at once — a hundred small moves, no single theory of the case. The hedgehog has one idea and runs everything through it. Isaiah Berlin made it famous by sorting people into piles with it. The hedgehog sees twelve locations, twelve numbers on a report.
