Originally from Nepal, she studied medicine at the National Medical College in Birgunj and moved to the US for postgraduate medical education at Harvard Medical School (Boston, MA). Jha trained in internal medicine at Saint Peter’s University Hospital (New Brunswick, NJ) and completed her cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
