But it wasn't until 2000, when Petersen took on the role of Dr. Gil Grissom in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," that he would become a household name.

Jean-Paul Sartre was one of the most talented wordsmiths of the 20th century, writing everything from treatises on philosophy and literary criticism to novels and plays. Sartre's fiction prowess was so renowned that he won the 1964 Nobel Prize in Literature. A big part of what makes a movie a classic is the cast. If one character feels off, it can throw the whole movie out of whack and leave audiences cold. That is why casting a movie can take so long and make actors go through so many auditions. And even then, sometimes the wrong actor gets a role, and it causes problems during filming. That was what happened with "Back to the Future" when Eric Stoltz was initially cast as hapless Hill Valley teen Marty McFly.

Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer announced their separation on December 12, 2025. "Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years," Schumer wrote on Instagram. "We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time." They officially filed for divorce on January 6, 2026. The couple married in February 2018 and welcomed son Gene David Fischer on May 5, 2019.

Since 2010, legendary movie star Harrison Ford has been married to fellow prominent actor Calista Flockhart, with the pair having been together since 2002. And while Flockhart is much younger than Ford, the fact remains that this is a very long time to be with someone — so much so that it's probably hard for people together that long to imagine doing anything without the other person.
