Hi everyone! This moment is the definition of a gray area, both seasonally and stylistically. We have one foot still in summer and the other sprinting ahead to fall (and Halloween, Christmas, New Year’s and spring break, too 🤯). We haven’t quite thought about what our autumn vibe will be yet, but we have had the desire to snap-up a few things that make us back-to-school fresh.

Our new collection of hand-painted carryalls inspired by the iconic Nantucket Lightship basket. Hi everyone! This weekend we’re excited to share a little project we’ve been working on inspired by the iconic Nantucket Lightship Basket, a small and sturdy vessel handwoven from rattan and cane with a distinctive wooden base first created in the 19th century on Nantucket, where they became a special souvenir of a visit to the island.

Like most good things, jelly shoes were first invented in France. Created in 1946 to solve the post-WWII leather shortage, a cutlery maker named Jean Dauphant launched a brand called Sarraizienne, which was rebranded and patented as Méduse (French for jellyfish) nine years later.
