If your neighborhood looked like Augusta National in May but now looks like a collection of lawns that say, "Eh, good enough," there may be a very Michigan reason. By late September, I'm no longer mowing because I'm passionate about lawn care. I'm mowing because my grass can sense weakness.

This little Michigan ghost town lies in Easton Township, Ionia County. It's the former town of Dildine...is it pronounced 'Dil-DYNE' or 'Dil-DEEN'? No idea what the pronunciation is for sure. Dildine is not even referred to as a town anymore...it's more of a hamlet. It was named in 1899 when a post office was established, and named after the Dildine family who owned several pieces of land in the area, as you will see for yourselves in the atlases pictured below.

Outside of concerts and shows, it isn't common to have an A-list celebrity roaming around Grand Rapids, let alone two for different events. Yet. Here we are, having been visited by Walter White, aka Bryan Cranston, and Anna Kendrick at the same time. Cranston's visit was known ahead of time, as he was participating in ArtPrize's finale show, but Kendrick's visit to West Michigan was a complete surprise.

The Kent County Sheriff’s Office just dropped video footage from an overnight chase that ended with a suspect stranded on a rock in the Grand River. It gives us a firsthand look at how a wild early morning vehicle theft spree unfolded in West Michigan. It all started around 3:00 a.m. on Friday, October 2, when a resident in the Adaridge and Adapointe neighborhood of Ada Township reported a car stolen straight from their driveway.
