Episkin, una alternativa a la experimentación animal
La piel artificial es una de las muchas alternativas que existen para reducir el uso de animales en investigaciones científicas. Este proyecto responde a una de las tres “R” en las que se fundamenta la experimentación animal: el reemplazo. Consiste en usar órganos sintéticos en lugar de órganos de seres sintientes. Las otras dos “R” son la reducción (utilizar la menor cantidad de animales posible) y el refinamiento (causar el menor daño posible).
RUVID Yearbook shares projects from members of the Rule of Law in Europe project
Within the framework of the Research Project on the Crisis of the Rule of Law in the European Union, led by Jean Monnet Chair, Professor Susana Sanz Caballero, from the CEU Cardenal Herrera University (UCH-CEU), significant advances have been achieved that deserve to be highlighted. Recently, the Network of Valencian Universities for the Promotion of Research, Development, and Innovation (RUVID) has shared the results of these investigations in its annual yearbook.

En el marco del Proyecto de Investigación sobre la Crisis del Estado de Derecho en la Unión Europea, liderado por la Catedrática Jean Monnet Susana Sanz Caballero de la Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera (UCH-CEU), se han logrado importantes avances que merecen ser destacados. Recientemente, la Red de Universidades Valencianas para el Fomento de la Investigación, el Desarrollo y la Innovación (RUVID) ha compartido los resultados de estas investigaciones en su anuario.
Más allá del nombre: inteligencia artificial y el legado de las escritoras
Con motivo del Día Internacional de la Mujer, la Biblioteca-CRAI de la Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera ha organizado dos exposiciones notables. La primera, titulada “Escritoras silenciadas por la historia: lo que nos cuenta la inteligencia artificial sobre ellas” y ubicada en Valencia, rinde homenaje a las autoras que, debido a las circunstancias de su época, no recibieron el reconocimiento merecido.
