International show jumpers and more than 2,000 horses sidelined by poor air quality
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- The wildfire smoke has had a huge impact on a destination for those who compete in Olympic-level show jumping. The Traverse City Horse Shows had to cancel competition Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday due to poor air quality. Event officials said the decision was made for the welfare of the athletes, staff and horses. Staff said that there are over 2,000 horses there along with international riders to compete this week.
Two men killed after argument over house keys escalates into shootout in Port St. Lucie
Multiple 911 calls sent officers rushing to a Port St. Lucie neighborhood at 3 a.m. Sunday, where police say a key dispute ended with two men killed in a shootout. Officers with the Port St. Lucie Police Department say the shooting occurred at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of SE Rivergreen Circle. According to investigators, multiple 911 calls flooded in reporting shots fired.

U.S. launches new airstrikes against Iran following Jordan strike
The U.S. military announced on Saturday that it launched new airstrikes against Iran to "swiftly punish" the country for an attack in Jordan that killed two U.S. service members.
