(WPBN/WGTU) - - Grand Traverse County Parks and Recreation held its first-ever Holiday Tree Stroll Friday, inviting the community to enjoy a festive walk among eight decorated trees. Attendees had the opportunity to chat with representatives from the decorating organizations, write letters to Santa, and savor hot chocolate. The event was designed to introduce a new winter activity.

MANISTEE COUNTY, Mich,. (WPBN/WGTU) -- Christmas is coming to the city of Manistee this weekend! Lakeside Club of Manistee presents The Festival of Trees for it's 5th year. WPBN - Manistee Festival of Trees Inside the Ramsdell Theatre, 48 trees are decorated on display for people to vote for their favorite trees with canned goods. Each tree is a part of a silent auction open for bidders to win a tree.
