Luke Bryan and Luke Combs have a new duet called "Finders Keepers" on Bryan's upcoming album Signs, which drops on Sept. 18. While the two country superstars haven't yet announced any plans to perform it together, I have a pretty good idea of when that could happen. I recently caught up with Bryan on Taste of Country Nights and asked him if we could eventually see him and Combs perform the song together onstage one day. His answer was basically, yes -- it's just a matter of finding the right time.

Darvis Griffin, who was a Texas A&M University administrator, has found himself facing a first-degree felony charge. This particular felony could carry a sentence of up to 25 years to life in prison, according to KBTX.On Thursday, September 3, Griffin was arrested by campus police on a warrant out of McLennan County. He was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a young child.

Actor Michael Kelly is joining the cast of Landman for its upcoming Season 3. Paramount revealed the news in a press release on Wednesday (Sept. 9). Kelly is set to play the role of William Crockett, "the leader of the largest oil management firm in the world. He is a titan of industry and everything about him exudes efficiency and money," according to a press release. Kelly will be billed as a series regular on Landman.

Garth Brooks' Blame It All On My Roots Tour will continue to criss-cross the United States. The hitmaker just announced the sixth city on his 2026 trek. The announcement comes as he prepares to play four weekend shows in Chicago. Brooks' 2026 tour began in Indianapolis before four shows in Denver. A press release touts 200,000 in total ticket sales so far. Upcoming tour stops include Washington D.C. and Orlando. On Wednesday (Sept. 9), Brooks announced two new shows in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Max McNown's Grand Ole Opry debut didn't exactly go according to plan. Before he ever stepped onto that legendary stage and into the circle, McNown found himself sitting in his broken-down car outside the Opry, and to make matters worse, he was at the wrong entrance. Speaking with McNown on Taste of Country Nights he tells me, "I broke down in the parking entry of my Opry debut. Not even the artist's entry. I went the wrong way." Yep.
