If you’ve got a big family — or even just an active one — figuring out who goes where and when can be complicated. You need a way to make sure everyone knows the schedule, and can plan ahead, even knowing that elements of the schedule will change. I’m not saying I’ve figured out a perfect solution, but mine works pretty well for my family. It’s not pretty. I don’t do beautiful hand-lettering on a chalkboard calendar hanging in the mudroom, but I don’t particularly value that. I value functionality.
