DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (CNN) - An investigation is underway after a contractor was found dead inside a storm sewer in Illinois. Officials say the man became trapped when severe weather moved through the area Monday. Search crews recovered the body of the missing contractor around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. The Downers Grove Fire Department says the man was found near Washington and Curtis.

The organization says the discharges have raised concerns about water quality and environmental impacts.
