Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The month of October is upon us, and some are looking ahead to winter. How much snow we could shovel is still unclear to one local meteorologist. "Winter outlooks usually have higher confidence only if we have a strong El Nino. We have none of that, but we have a weak La Nina, that can bring snow to the north central states. If we end up with a weak La Nina, we could see an anything goes, up and down pattern for winter," says WBEN 7 First Alert Meteorologist Don Paul.
