New York completed the 4 game sweep and will represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals. Karl-Anthony Towns led N.Y. with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Jalen Brunson added 15 points and 5 assists and was named the Eastern Conference Finals MVP. Donovan Mitchell paced the Cavs with a game high 31 points.

Man Fires Guard's Gun Inside Columbus-Area Hospital
GROVE CITY, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – You’ll recall a similar incident recently in Canton. In a hallway at the Mount Carmel Hospital in the Columbus suburb of Grove City last week, a patient grabbed a hold of a security guard’s gun while still in the holster, and fired it once. No one was injured. The bullet it a wall. The security guard did suffer minor injuries, and the patient faces charges.

Ohio State’s 2025 season came to an end at the hands of the Miami Hurricanes in the Cotton Bowl 24-14. OSU spotted Miami a 14-0 lead at halftime and got to within 17–14 in the 4th quarter but could not complete the comeback. So the Buckeyes end the season with consecutive losses to Indiana in the Big Ten Championship and Miami in the College Football Playoff.

Titans Outlast Bumbling Browns 31-29
The Browns lost to the worst team in football yesterday, falling at home 31-29 to Tennessee as they botched a potential game tying 2-point conversion in the last minute. Cleveland also fumbled once and had a punt blocked. The Titans put up the most points they’ve scored all season as Tony Pollard ran for 161 yards and 2 touchdowns. Rookie QB- Shedeur Sanders, making his 3rd start for Cleveland, went toe-to-toe with Titans rookie QB- Cam Ward who was the number #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

My Next DAY OSU Thoughts By Kenny Roda 12-7-25 Horrible play calling, it reminded me of the loss to Michigan last year, especially in the red zone and yes, the final score of that loss was 13-10. It’s very concerning to me that two weeks in a row, in the two biggest games of the year, the offense has gotten off to a slow start and actually turned the ball over twice on Julian Sayin interceptions.
