The Ledge Amphitheater will host a pair of huge shows this week as summer begins to wind down in Central Minnesota. THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW The Australian Pink Floyd Show, which currently employs 12 musicians, began in Adelaide in 1988. The group meticulously attempts to recreate every nuance of a Pink Floyd show, right down to David Gilmour's guitar set-ups. In fact, the band even has several former Pink Floyd employees working with them.

ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- A Stearns County man faces felony charges after a large drug bust on Monday. The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force has arrested 28-year-old Rodolfo Ramirez Jr. of Meire Grove on suspicion of 1st-degree drug possession. The task force was investigating the distribution of methamphetamine in central Minnesota when they made a traffic stop in Richmond.

He was the first of 3 children and lived in Foley on the Family Farm all of his life. Tom farmed with his Dad who had dairy cows. Tom’s passion was beef cattle.

Ok, let's just start out by stating that I actually love the Minnesota State Fair. I have spoked to quite a few people recently that feel the opposite way than I do. I don't understand those people, but you do you. We have made an agreement in our household that we will only go to the fair every other year. And this year is NOT one of those years. It is what it is.

The Sartell Police Department are reporting vandalism at Val Smith Park. Alicia Mages from Tri County Crimestoppers says several spots on the playground and pavilion were spray painted with words, symbols, and pictures. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office are reporting property damage to the Kimball Golf Course. Mages says there was damage to putting green #1 and some golf carts.

Wow, August is over half done, and school will start up in a little over a week for many cities in the area. You still have time to get in some weekend adventures before the hectic school year begins. The Common Roots Festival is, of course, a headline event for this weekend, but there is so much more. ST. PAUL (WJON News) -- Minnesota employees making minimum wage will be getting another pay increase on the first of the year. Minnesota's minimum wage rate will be adjusted for inflation to $11.87 an hour for all employees in the state. The 90-day training wage for workers under age 20 will increase to $9.68 an hour. The cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul have minimum wage ordinances that require higher minimum wage rates for work performed in those cities.
