UNDATED (WJON News) -- The Foley Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing man. The Police say that 53-year-old Steven Bairett was last seen on October 2nd in Minneapolis. He was last spotted near the 900 block of West Broadway and is known to frequent Lake Street in the downtown area. Foley Police say Bairett has a tattoo on his right forearm and walks with a hunch. He is 5 foot 8 inches tall, about 192 pounds, and has gray hair.

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A project to replace the Silver Lake Dam and to implement other changes to the waterway has cleared its final government hurdle. See Also: Victim of Fatal Rochester-Area ATV Crash Identified The plans call for replacing the Silver Lake Dam with a series of cascading pools, modifying the lake’s southern shore line and dredging the lake. Crews will also be  installing a pedestrian/biking bridge pier east of North Broadway Ave.

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Police have arrested a man suspected of committing a theft spree that included a burglary in a northeast Rochester neighborhood. See Also: Worker Dies After Falling from Roof of Rochester Home Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers responded to the burglary around 4:30 Tuesday morning. Officers found and arrested the suspect less than two hours later.

ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- We've been telling you about the Alley of Art and the new murals that are being added to some of the walls of buildings in downtown St. Cloud, but there's even more artwork popping up in some unexpected places. Halloween is suddenly everywhere you look! From the grocery store to our kids' schools the decorations are out in full force. Of course we have the usual suspects like ghosts, vampires, pumpkins and spiderwebs.. but have you noticed Halloween's unelected new main character? His name is Jack Skellington- the main character in the 1993 movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. In the movie, Jack is the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town.

The Granite City Card Show is coming to Sartell Community Center on Saturday, October 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Event organizer Patrick Parker joined me on WJON. He says the event will include sports cards, Pokemon cards and collectibles. There is no cost to get in, it is family friendly and will include a free gift bag for the first 50 kids 12 & under. Parker says they will have 20-plus vendors selling sports cards and 20-plus vendors selling Pokemon and other CPG cards.

LITTLE FALLS (WJON News) -- Residents of Little Falls can find out more about candidates running for several offices this week. The Little Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism will host a candidate forum on Thursday night. Little Falls Residents Can Meet Local Candidates The forum will have those running for Morrison County Commissioner, Minnesota Senate, and Minnesota House of Representatives District 10A and 10B.

A Central Minnesota bar has done it again. Not only did the Red Rooster Bar in Genola take a People's Choice award at a Twin Cities Bloody Mary contest, but it also achieved something that has eluded them up until this past weekend: a win from the judges. The Red Rooster bar in Genola has added some more hardware to its walls. The bar entered the Twin Cities Bloody Mary Festival that took place over the weekend and came home with two awards.

Look at those blue eyes!  Not much is known about Sammy right now, just that she is about 40 pounds, 4 years old, and is a very happy, excited, and a little jumpy around kids dog. She also chases cats, so if you have a cat already, Sammy might not be the right pet for you. October is adopt a shelter pet month, and Sammy is one of those pups that has had her adoption fee reduced. She also comes with one training session available through Sapphire Canine in Foley.
