A Texas rabbit is lucky to be alive after recently hitching a ride last week. A woman took her SUV in last week for an oil change and after the technician pulled the vehicle into the bay, he found a live rabbit under the hood. An Ohio couple who were married for 79 years recently died just hours apart from each other after spending the majority of their lives together. Frances June and William "Hubert" Malicote of Hamilton were both 100-years-old when they died last week, according to their obituaries. Hubert died at 9:15 p.m. on November 30, and June died on 5:40 p.m. on December 1. June became seriously ill on the night of Thanksgiving, and was taken to a hospice care facility.

A dad is called a hero after he rescues his four kids when they’re taken during a carjacking. Last week, in Burnsville, Minnesota, dad Derek Gotchie was dropping off gifts at a friend’s house. His wife, Deanah, had just taken the last gift out and asked him to close up the back of their SUV so their four children wouldn’t get cold. "I'm shutting the trunk, this guy jumps out of this taxi minivan, runs to my truck,” Derek recalls.
