Carly Pearce has never shied away from being honest about the short-lived marriage that changed her life, and she's now looking back at one very specific piece of music from that chapter with some serious regret. Dolly Parton's first posthumous release is taking her right back to where so much of her music began: the mountains. Dolly is featured on “Bound to Ride,” a traditional song the Stanley Brothers helped popularize with their 1964 recording. The song appears on Where the Soul Never Dies: Celebrating 80 Years of The Stanley Brothers, due Oct. 16, and arrives just two weeks after Dolly's death at 80.

It's no secret that Nashville is the home of country music, and the vast majority of country stars choose to live in Music City so they can be right in the middle of the action when it comes to the country music industry. Luke Bryan and Luke Combs have a new duet called "Finders Keepers" on Bryan's upcoming album Signs, which drops on Sept. 18. Actor Michael Kelly is joining the cast of Landman for its upcoming Season 3. Paramount revealed the news in a press release on Wednesday (Sept. 9). Kelly is set to play the role of William Crockett, "the leader of the largest oil management firm in the world. He is a titan of industry and everything about him exudes efficiency and money," according to a press release. Kelly will be billed as a series regular on Landman.

I know I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, Massachusetts friends and neighbors. Fast food is not the best thing for you. We get it, we understand. Whenever I go on a road trip with someone, I usually drive most of the time, so this doesn't really concern me. However, it appears to be a common thing among women. Even if Darius Rucker knew that his song "I Believe" was coming out at a time when lots of people would need comfort, he couldn't have possibly predicted just how timely its message would be. The singer, who called "I Believe" his "love letter to America," surely knew that the song was entering a world that feels more divided every day.
