Overall, there is a lot to like about New Jersey's weather forecast through the rest of the week. While the air is soupy Wednesday morning, with clouds and even some brief showers around early on, things will become brighter and much more comfortable in the afternoon as humidity drops noticeably. While the daytime hours stay mainly dry, a quick batch of rain does look to slide through the Garden State Wednesday night.

Manchester Township Council usually draws 30 or 40 people on a normal night. This week it drew an overflow crowd, spilling into the hallway, after word spread on social media that a developer might be eyeing a data center next to an age-restricted community bordering the Pinelands. There was nothing about data centers on the actual meeting agenda. Didn't matter. People showed up anyway, and the message was blunt: just ban it.

Atlantic City is having a massive moment. In a brand-new HostingAdvice study ranking the top U.S. cities for creators and YouTubers, AC officially pulled off a major flex by landing at No. 4 overall. Researchers evaluated over 500 cities based on high-speed broadband access, cost of living, and thriving creative ecosystems.

The former Lumberton Mayor dubbed the 'Queen of Toxicity,' Gina LaPlaca, is facing yet another round of legal trouble, this time over allegations she and her husband used fraudulent signatures to get her name on the ballot. Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw announced criminal charges against LaPlaca, 47, and her husband, Jason Carty, 49, following an investigation into LaPlaca's nominating petition for the June Democratic primary.

If you know me, you know I'm a big fan of the Hallmark Channel. I just love all of the feel good movies, especially the Christmas-themed ones, where everyone lives happily ever after. They're such a great escape from this big, bad world. Every now and then, I get super excited when I spot local scenery while watching a movie, and it just happened again over the weekend.

NEWARK — New Jersey's biggest airport just got a safety upgrade thanks to a new state-of-the-art radar system. On Tuesday, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy was joined by Federal Aviation Administrator Bryan Bedford and Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Kathryn Garcia to tout Newark Liberty International Airport's new Surface Movement Radar.

Angelina Jolie wasn't exactly rushing to check in on Brad Pitt after the actor revealed he was drinking again following seven years of sobriety. According to a source close to Jolie, the news didn't come as a surprise to the actress, who had long believed that giving up alcohol didn't necessarily mean the issues underlying Pitt's drinking had disappeared. "Angelina is not surprised. She tried to warn people. She knew this was always a possibility," a source spilled.

Back in May, I wrote about two New Jersey towns that pushed back against their own governments and actually won. Diamond Beach got its paid parking ordinance repealed after residents showed up week after week. Andover Township got its data center zoning reversed after a community that had been tearing itself apart found its footing and pushed back together. I ended that piece wondering if the era of apathy might finally be receding. Hillsborough might be the answer.
