IN CAMPUS NEWS, Microsoft partners with UW Madison to accelerate AI scientific discovery. Thursday, Microsoft announced it was partnering with Princeton and UW Madison. According to Microsoft, this partnership will combine the agility of a startup, the technology of a global company, and a university’s expertise. Researchers will analyze data, simulate experiments, and uncover new materials more efficiently. Microsoft hopes to use this tech as a possible solution to environmental challenges.

Jonathan Taylor’s Unbelievable Start

After another phenomenal performance this past Sunday, Wisconsin’s very own Jonathan Taylor has cemented himself as the NFL’s best running back this season. When it comes to touchdowns, JT is well accustomed to them as he currently leads all running backs with 12 rushing touchdowns and 14 total touchdowns for the 7-1 Indianapolis Colts.

Queens of the Stone Age just left for Europe to continue playing historic theatres on their Catacombs tour.
Why I Support the Seattle Mariners
by: Aniruddh Nambudiri It’s 10:25 pm. I just reached home. I walked the mile back home from the station. Promotions Director Owen Cadwell just finished his show and I managed to catch him on the way out as I shut down everything. I now have the precision down with the stick we use to turn the projector on with the remote just not working so it did not take long to wrap up everything. I am soaking wet from the rain but everything in my bag seems to be okay.
The Bad Media Hall of Fame
by: Blog Club A few entries from our esteemed blog club members for when the building commemorating bad media finally gets built. Video games, movies, music, all of it is on the table today! The Room (Ceci Dupor) Dubbed the “Citizen Kane of bad movies”, The Room has been a cult classic since its inception. Fans flock to late night screenings where they throw spoons in the air and yell at the screen. The plot follows Johnny and his fiancee, Lisa, who is cheating on him with Johnny’s roommate Mark.
CONCERT REVIEW: HIROMI’S Sonicwonder at the Wisconsin Union Theater
By: Steven Mose Hiromi – keys Adam O’Farrill – trumpet Gene Coye – drums Hadrien Feraud – bass The virtuosic Japanese pianist Hiromi and her band Sonicwonder stopped in Madison at the Wisconsin Union Theater on October 2nd as part of their tour of the States. Hiromi and Sonicwonder have made two albums, 2023’s Sonicwonderland and OUT THERE, which was released in April of this year.
