The United Party for National Development (UPND) has secured victories in Kabompo West and Mushindamo Constituencies of Northwestern Province. In Kabompo West, Hillary Chipango was declared duly elected after polling 4,521 votes. He defeated Independent candidate Beatrice Samundengo, who managed 3,314 votes. Other contenders included Independent Daniel Kalenga with 601 votes and Shilota Kapimpa with 154 votes. Kabompo West Returning Officer Costa Fumbelo announced the results.
Ross Kasikili Wins Roma Constituency With 17,201 Votes
By Patricia Banda UPND’s Ross Kasikili has been elected Member of Parliament for Roma Constituency after polling 17,201 votes. Mr. Kasikili defeated Chilando Chitangala of the Resolute Party, who garnered 16,257 votes. Returning Officer Penelope Aongola declared Mr. Kasikili duly elected at the Northmead Secondary School totalling centre.
UPND Sweeps All Eight Wards in Nkeyema

Nkeyema Constituency Returning Officer, ABRAHAM CHIMBALA has declared results for the Councillors, Council Chairperson and Parliamentary seat. UPND’s KAPELWA MBANGWETA has been re-elected as Member of Parliament for Nkeyema Constituency after polling 19,031 votes.
Daniel Bwalya of NRPUP Wins Lukashya Seat
By Chansa Mayani Daniel Bwalya of the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) has won the Lukashya Constituency seat in Kasama, defeating seven other contenders. Returning Officer Evaristo Mulenga declared Mr. Bwalya duly elected at about 18:00 hours. UPND’s Evol Katongo came second with 5,514 votes, while Independent Howard Mulenga secured 2,091 votes.
TI‑Zambia Records 100% Integrity Index in ECZ Results
Transparency International Zambia has recorded a 100 percent Integrity Index in the presidential results announced by the Electoral Commission of Zambia in four constituencies. This follows an assessment using its election monitoring index. The Constituencies are Chisamba in Central , Dongwe of North Western , Feira in Lusaka and Kundabwika of Northern Province .

Govt Dismisses Social Media Reports of Kafwaya has been Shot
Government has dismissed social media reports alleging that former Lunte Member of Parliament MUTOTWE KAFWAYA was shot and admitted to Maina Soko Medical Centre . The reports, allegedly attributed to NRPUP running mate MAKEBI ZULU, claimed that Mr KAFWAYA had been shot and was receiving treatment at the hospital. Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary THABO KAWANA has described the reports as disinformation intended to alarm and mislead the public.

The UPND has won all the three Parliamentary Seats in Mazabuka district. Mazabuka Central Constituency Returning Officer CHILALA BBALO declared UPND’s VINCENT LILANDA as duly elected Member of Parliament for Mazabuka central constituency this morning around 03:00hrs. The former Mazabuka Mayor polled 20,420 votes defeating Independent candidate GARY NKOMBO, who polled 10,720 votes.

In Kafue West Returning officer KAHEKO KAFUTI declared OBVIOUS MWALITETA of Kafue West as winner after he polled 13,932 votes. Mr MWALITETA was trailed by National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity -NRPUP- candidate CHARLES LUNGU who polled 8,292 votes Meanwhile, the UPND’s BUUMBA MALAMBO has been declared winner of Kafue East after she polled 12,750 votes.
