Since the first Sun Protection Conference in London in 1992, it is interesting to see how the topics presented have evolved over the decades. We have seen the development and finessing of the methods of testing and labeling SPF, UVA, water resistance, photostability, the introduction of much more efficient and broadspectrum sunscreens, and the introduction of the concepts of protection beyond UV and into the longer wavelengths of visible and blue light and infra-red.
