EP by Meghan Linsey on iTunes
It really doesn’t matter what Meghan Linsey sings as long as she is singing. Vocally she has a real distinction from other female artists across any genre that are laying tracks down today. Counterfeit starts out this EP with a good solid pulse setting the pace. I’m mesmerized and totally a Believer by track two ‘Believer’ well go figure!!! Killer vocal work esp. when the song slows down in the middle and then the pulse kicks in…. Totally loving this song – even the ending of this track is memorable.
Linsey: I’m a white country singer. I still took a knee after I sang the national anthem at an NFL game
I was on my way to Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sunday morning when I got a call informing me that my performance of the national anthem before the Tennessee Titans game would be televised nationally later that day. President Donald Trump had already spent the day before attacking the NFL players who’ve been kneeling during the anthem to protest police brutality against African Americans, so of course news outlets and all of America would be watching.
