The light-up aptamers have attracted growing attention due to their advantages of label-free and low fluorescence background. In this work, we developed a light-up fluorescence assay for label-free detection of tumor cells based on the bifunctional split aptamer (BFSA) which contained two DNA strands (BFSA-a and BFSA-b).
