Yes, a lonngggg time ago!

How is social media changing news?

It's where people consume news first, which is subjective, of course. If you're not sharing on social, you're basically not OUTSIDE.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Adobe Suite - InDesign, Premiere Pro, Acrobat, Grammarly

Why did you become a journalist?

Quite by accident. I started as a page layout designer and discovered I love interviewing, started writing and editing stories.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Find your voice, but also be honest when you write and think about how your writing will affect a reader. Does it uplift or demoralize?

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

Someone I used to know trying the nepotism card

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

New York Mag. The stories are always super relevant and relatable.
