Meredith Ruble’s Biography
Meredith Ruble is a Managing Director at Maximus Partners with more than 25 years of experience in finance, strategic planning, investment banking, and executive leadership. She has worked with venture-backed startups, private equity-supported education companies, and growth-focused organizations. Throughout her career, she has supported complex business transactions and helped raise more than $150 million in debt and equity across 11 capital rounds.
Meredith has developed a practical approach to financial leadership by combining analysis, collaboration, and process improvement. She works with executive teams and stakeholders to identify business needs, review performance, and support better operational decisions. Her experience includes building performance analytics, improving reporting systems, and helping companies connect financial planning with daily business goals.
Meredith currently serves at Maximus Partners, where she supports private equity investors and executive teams. Her work draws on 15 years in investment banking and 10 years as a chief financial officer. In this role, she helps strengthen financial operations for growth-focused companies. Her industry experience includes education, services, technology, and investment banking.
Meredith began her career in 1993 with CMS Companies in Philadelphia, where she worked as an Analyst and later as a Senior Analyst. In 2000, she joined Stifel Financial Corporation and advanced through several roles, including Associate, Vice President, Principal, and Managing Director within the Education Group. Her work at Stifel focused on investment banking transactions for education operating companies and education technology service businesses.
Meredith later joined Noodle Partners PBC in New York, where she served as Corporate Development Advisor and Chief Financial Officer. She supported capital raising, merger and acquisition work, investor relationships, and company strategy. During her time there, she helped guide the company through a shift from managing third-party vendors to providing wider services to universities. The company grew revenue from $1 million to more than $90 million, completed four acquisitions, and raised $120 million through debt and equity rounds.
Meredith also served as Chief Financial Officer at Noodle Companies LLC from 2017 to 2019. In that role, she helped rebuild accounting systems and improve internal financial processes. She also created cash forecasting, budgeting, and reporting tools for several independent businesses, including Noodle Markets, Noodle Partners, Noodle.com, and Noodle Pros. Her responsibilities also included finance, accounting, human resources, IT, legal, and other back-office functions.
Meredith previously worked as Chief Financial Officer for ID Tech Camps in Campbell, California. She helped implement budgeting and planning tools, manage expenses, and improve customer service operations through real-time data and performance targets. During her tenure, the company grew revenue from $25 million to $65 million within three years and was later sold to Emeritus for $200 million.
Meredith Ruble grew up in central Pennsylvania and developed independence early in life. She lived abroad as an exchange student at age 15, later attended boarding school at Mercersburg, and studied at the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in economics and minored in Japanese studies. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, cooking, home design, and gardening.
