Can you tell us about your journey and what interested you to work in this field? My journey into security has always been rooted in a passion for people, systems and justice — rather than authority or enforcement. With a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology from the University of Arizona, I became fascinated by how human behaviour and environments shape actions, and how well-designed systems can prevent harm before it occurs.
Working in the security field is not just a traditional job, but a humanitarian mission and a great responsibility relating to the protection of lives and property and reinforcing trust within society. This noble mission deserves to be met with professionalism and continuous development. With the rapid pace of technological advancements and the growing security threats, the demand for security personnel with up-to-date knowledge and advanced skills is increasing.
Can you tell us about your journey in security and what interested you to work in this field? My journey in the security industry was more of a calling rather than a profession. To fully understand that calling, I began as an entry level security officer and worked my way up.
