The Learning Disability (LD) label negatively affects teachers' performance expectations of students, which partially manifests in behavioural teaching intentions. However, the LD diagnosis only unfolds its negative effects when it is consciously perceived. Teachers who do not remember the LD diagnosis of a fictitious student believe in the benefits of inclusive education. Special education teachers (SETs) have lower performance expectations than regular education teachers (RETs).
