Michael Ollinga is an experienced journalist with over 10 years’ experience in print, digital and broadcast (radio)journalism.
He is passionate about telling life changing stories, informing and educating through journalism, hence the inclination to special reports and features cutting across Crime, Courts, Agriculture, Health, Climate, human rights and human interest.
Ollinga is currently a Senior Digital Editor of the Special Format articles and Special reports at TUKO.co.ke having led the Current Affairs and Local Journalism desk previously at the same establishment.

He worked as a newsroom assistant, reporter and news anchor at Fish FM and as a news reporter, feature and special reports writer at Standard Group Limited’s The Standard and Nairobian newspapers, inclusive of different segments pullouts.
Ollinga holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology and is a student of Masters of Science in Communication Journalism at Moi University.
He also holds a certificate on HIV and AIDs Reporting in Africa offered through an exchange programme between Moi University and Indian University and written published academic papers in the field of journalism and mass communication.
