What was your first job as a journalist?
Weekend sports coverage - high school, college, some minor league baseball - for my hometown paper.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes, when first learning to type.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
E-mail or phone. It is good to hear a new voice.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
A Macbook Air, primarily, and a Samsung Galaxy 4s Zoom phone, and my brain, but in no particular order.

Coffee with coconut oil.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Running and training before work. Spending time with my wife and kids.
